Neural Net Processor Is the Catchiest Song Inspired by a Movie

Musicians can be inspired after a  sweet, sweet love making session.  They can be inspired by the way the sunlight reflects off of a child’s smile.  Often musicians write songs after a devastating break-up.   But who are we kidding here, the best songs written by a musician are the ones inspired by movies.  You’d be surprised how many songs are but here are a couple to get you through the day.

While the Foo Fighters video for “Walk” was inspired by Joel Schumacher‘s Falling Down, Iron Maiden had already written a song inspired by that movie called “Man on the Edge.”

Even Neil Diamond got in on the action writing “Heartlight,”  inspired by Steven Spielberg‘s E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial.  Fun fact about this song:  Universal Studios sued Diamond for copyright infringement for $25,000 and won.

But none of those songs can even come close to “Neural Net Processor.”  Inspired by the Terminator movies and performed by a band called Space Cops (aka Cole Bruns, a production assistant on Bravo‘s Kathy), this song is catchy – like “Chocolate Rain” catchy.  Not even the destruction of Cyberdyne Systems could prevent you from getting this song stuck in your head.
